Gabriella Ladle - 31 cm Length - Handcrafted in Italy - Pewter & Stainless Steel
The Gabriella Ladle is the perfect utensil for serving hearty soups, stews and chowders, and for ladling gravies and other sauces and dressings. A versatile spoon, it can be used for basting meat – to moisten a roasting joint with melted fat and butter – as well as serving beverages such as hot toddy and punch.
Buying as a gift? Why not make it even more special with our engraving service?
The Gabriella Ladle is hand-made by Italian craftsmen, using both pewter and stainless steel produced in Brescia, Lombardy; fused to produce a strong and ergonomic design. The Gabriella Ladle complements the Cosi Tabellini range of sauce and gravy boats, tureens and serving bowls.
The Gabriella range of flatware and serving ware is a simple, but elegant, design with rectangular-shaped handles, featuring an attractive decorative line all the way around the edge, giving the cutlery a contemporary feel. The soft, warm hues of the pewter, combined with the simplicity in design, adds sophistication to any table setting, formal or informal.
The pewter handles of Gabriella cutlery are made using a special technique: the molten pewter is directly cast onto the steel tips of the cutlery; this process forms what is really a single element in which the "hardness" of the steel discreetly dissolves into the "soft" surface of the pewter handle, more suitable for contact with the hands.
