Britannia Milk Pitcher - 40 cl - Handcrafted in Italy - Pewter
Hand-crafted in Italy from pewter, this large pewter milk pitcher is the big brother to the smaller milk jug - or creamer - within the same, Britannia, collection.
The pewter milk pitcher is generously proportioned for a larger gathering, or when coffee is also being served to differentiate between the milk and the cream; the cream being served in the smaller version, completing the Britannia beverage set.
Milk suits full-bodied black teas, like English Breakfast and Irish Breakfast, whilst more delicate black teas, such as Earl Grey, can be served either with milk, plain, or with lemon.
It is generally accepted, although it always seems to cause discussion, that milk should always be added after the tea is poured, to enable one to judge the strength of the brew.
