Art Nouveau-style Donna claret jug of a slender tapered conical form flaring out towards the base. The pretty pink glass body is encased in pewter / Britannia metal, which is embellished with a femme-fleur base, foliate motif neck and fruit and berry motif stopper. It is completed by a whiplash handle.
This item is a reproduction of model no. 190 from WMF’s original “The Art Nouveau Domestic Metalwork Catalogue” dated 1906, as illustrated within our image collection. It was originally entitled: ‘Claret Jug’.
