Piemonte Round Incised Bowl - 34 cm Diameter - Handcrafted in Italy - Pewter
This simply decorated pewter bowl is the largest within the Piemonte set of three. Craftsmen in a small workshop in Northern Italy, near Lake Garda, cleverly 'antique' the solid pewter to create a gently aged surface, with a soft patina, enhanced by the simple ringed decoration, and unique touchmarks. The incised rings around the rim and at the base are engraved carefully by hand, and elevate this subtle bowl to something a little bit special.
This super-sized bowl makes a great serving vessel for parties and large gatherings, formal or informal, and together these striking Piemonte bowls look great stacked waiting to be used, dotted around a room for snacks, or upon a table as proper serving bowls, as well as individually when stand alone.
