This hand-finished Italian pewter and glass salt mill looks elegant and yet practical upon your dining table, making a routine action feel a little more special. Our recommendation is to use coarse sea salt crystals, rather than sea salt flakes, as these can coagulate within the mechanism and will cause the grinder to fail. Rock salt tends to be quite hard and abrasive, and we recommend not using it, to avoid the grinding mechanism being worn down.
The salt mill is complemented by a matching pepper mill to bring the iconic pair of condiments together.
