Chianti Bowl / Tastevin - 13 cm Diameter - Handcrafted in Italy - Pewter
Cleverly 'antiqued' to create a gently aged surface, complete with craftsman's touchmark, this pewter bowl is the larger bowl in a pair, made by Italian craftsmen specialising in traditional and contemporary pewter wares.

Wine tasting has been practiced ever since humankind has produced wine in order to gauge quality, and allow the practice of wine-making to progress and improve, however, ever since the 1300s, a more established methodology has evolved in order to evaluate the quality of a wine. Ultimately, personal taste should dictate above perceived quality and prestige.

Of course, this dish is not restricted to wine tasting, it is useful as an individual bowl for snacks and nibbles, and looks great either stand alone or within the Chianti pairing. They would look great hanging on hooks on a kitchen dresser, wall or shelf, intermingled with Cosi Tabellini's other Tastevin range; the Lugana bowls...
