Fjord Serving Fork - 25 cm Length - Handcrafted in Italy - Pewter & Stainless Steel
Handcrafted by Italian artisans, by fusing Brescian pewter and stainless steel, the serving fork perfectly complements the Fjord dinner service; it simply feels and looks 'just right' upon your dining table.
This serving fork can be used individually to spear roasted potatoes or cold meats from a dish or platter, or together with the matching Fjord serving spoon to operate as tongs to serve food which requires two implements, such as tossed salad, paella or pasta.
The Fjord range of flatware is a simple, but striking, design with strong Norse-inspired circular patterns with a gentler bevelled tip giving the cutlery a contemporary feel. The soft, warm hues of the pewter, combined with the simplicity in design, adds sophistication to any table setting, formal or informal.
The pewter handles of Fjord cutlery are made using a special technique: the molten pewter is directly cast onto the steel tips of the cutlery; this process forms what is really a single element in which the "hardness" of the steel discreetly dissolves into the "soft" surface of the pewter handle, more suitable for contact with the hands.
