Gabriella Fork-Tipped Cheese Knife - 23 cm Length - Handcrafted in Italy - Pewter & Stainless Steel

- +

This solid fork-tipped cheese knife is the perfect tool for cutting and slicing a whole variety of firm cheeses, from hard crumbly West Country Cheddars & Italian Pecorino to Dutch Gouda, and the forked-tip is ideal for serving up hunks and chunks.

Buying as a gift? Why not make it even more special with our engraving service?

Whilst designed for firm cheeses, it is the 'generic' cheese knife, and can be used for a variety of cheese, both soft and hard.

Hand-made by Italian craftsmen, pewter and stainless steel, both produced in Brescia, Lombardy, the knife is fused to produce a pretty item combining an ergonomic design with considerable strength, especially needed when cutting through the hardest of cheeses.

Also, it complements a full range of cheese knives and flatware available in Cosi Tabellini's popular Gabriella range.

The Gabriella range of flatware and serving ware is a simple, but elegant, design with rectangular-shaped handles, featuring an attractive decorative line all the way around the edge, giving the cutlery a contemporary feel. The soft, warm hues of the pewter, combined with the simplicity in design, adds sophistication to any table setting, formal or informal.

The pewter handles of Gabriella cutlery are made using a special technique: the molten pewter is directly cast onto the steel tips of the cutlery; this process forms what is really a single element in which the "hardness" of the steel discreetly dissolves into the "soft" surface of the pewter handle, more suitable for contact with the hands.
